Check The Features And Specifications Of Vivo V7!

Very recently, Vivo came up with V7 and V7+, which further saturates the market under 22k. Vivo V7 is priced lower than Vivo V7 Plus, with a smaller screen and battery, but does it offer bang for your buck? Here’s a quick review for your help!

The basics

For a price under 20k, you would expect an all-metal body, but Vivo seems to be struck with plastic. Vivo V7 comes with a plastic back, although the design doesn’t feel flimsy or bulky. Since it is smaller than Vivo V7 Plus, it’s easy to carry around. The 5.7-inch IPS FullView display is just about okay, because of the 18:9 aspect ratio, but for the price paid, we should have got Full- HD+ resolution. Priced at 20k, the smartphone is up for grabs at a discount online, which you can check.

Know more

Vivo V7 runs on the Qualcomm Octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor with 4GB RAM – the same specifications that you get with Vivo V7 Plus. The only thing here is the reduced internal memory. Unlike Vivo V7 Plus, Vivo V7 just has 32 GB onboard internal storage. The battery is also a tad reduced at 3000mAh, but with 12-hours of extensive use, we still found some charge left. If you are used to the stock Android experience, it may take a while to understand Funtouch OS 3.2 updated to Android 7.1.2 Nougat. The overall experience is hugely borrowed from iOS, and one is left wondering why Vivo doesn’t want to stay up in competition. Like it’s elder sibling, this model too features the Smart Split, which can be activated with three-finger down swipe.

The elephant in the room – Cameras

Anyone who buys a Vivo smartphone is often interested in the selfie camera, and Vivo V7 packs a 24MP shooter on the front with LED flash. The camera works exceptionally well even in low lighting, and on the rear, you have a 16MP camera, which has a few extra features, but doesn’t work well as the front counterpart. If you are obsessed with selfies, Vivo V7 does offer all that you need.

Final word

Vivo V7 isn’t the best in class as far as hardware and UI are concerned, but it does deliver what’s promised – A great phone with an incredible selfie camera. There were no lags with the processor whatsoever, but for that price, you expect more. The design and build aren’t also inspiring, and one is left wondering when Vivo will decide to make room for stock Android. Vivo V7 Plus price is lower online, so if you are in mood for a 5.99-inch screen, go for that one as it also has better memory.
